Great Value and Service
from Taipei, Taiwan (July 26, 2005)
We have just returned from 7 nights at the Kamala Bay Garden. Tucked away just off the southern end of Kamala Bay, the resort is away from the more congested tourist spots, but well within reach should you grow weary of the peace, tranquility and privacy here.
Travelling as a family of four, we enjoyed the space of the one bedroomed suites, which suited our needs perfectly. The highlight of the resort is undoubtably the pool, a kids pool great for smaller kids and a much larger pool with a slide.
Best of all the staff. I had the misfortune to get bitten by a mystery bug in some grass, the staff rallied to my aid, taking me first to an emergency doctor, then onto the hospital. The manager stayed with us to make sure all was well, and the next day sent flowers and fruit to wish me a speedy recovery. Their concern for both me, and my family was heartfelt and much appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed the remainder of our stay, and couldn´t recommend this wonderful place more. As expats in Asia we have had numerous resort holidays in the region. These people are some of the friendliest we have encountered.

We would pay peak season rates for this place and still feel satisfied!
from London, UK (July 5, 2005)
Our family of four just enjoyed a wonderful week long stay at the Kamala Bay Garden resort, taking advantage of the amazing low season rates.
The one bedroomed suite was perfect for our requirements, spacious and simply furnished with a great view over the pool. The pool itself was the highlight of the trip for my boys (aged 2 & 4), they had a separate kids pool, and a large pool with, what my 4 year old assures me "the greatest slide in the world".
The beautiful beach, Kamala Bay, was hit quite badly in the tsunami, so there is some construction along the foreshore, however they are well on the way to being 100% . The village at Kamala is wonderful, a world away from the neon nightmare of Patong, although only 15 mins away by car. Great bars and restaurants are here, with better prices and a much better vibe.

great family place..
by allison vaneyk from australia (April 15, 2006)
Fantastic value for money, in rooms and we had breakfast included, so that was good. We are from Australia and were the only family along with our friends from Aus. They cater big time to Europe places. The other guests from an aussie point of view were super rude, children included, but hey we all cant be perfect... Pool is ace for the kids, they could play and slide all day. Kids club is only for limited age group. And hey we didnt speak German. Kamala its self is ace, Our family is not really into Patong, we can go there if we please but not to stay. The resturants on the beach are ace. Had heaps of dinners there. Didnt eat much at hotel. To much to see and do. It takes about ten minutes walk to get into Kamala itself which is ace. You can walk along the beach or road. Two bedroom suits are ace, you could have your own space. Ours was right infront of the pool, groud floor(what more do you want!!) We paid about a half of alot of other resorts and we go away each year so i no my prices. Great place give or take those little things.
