OLD COURSE provides a strenuous resort 18-hole, 6483 yards, par 72 golf game. Hole #10, 557 yards par 5, is one of the most unusual hole you will find anywhere; a dog-leg right that snakes around an enormous lake and reachable in one!

To achieve it, you must aim 90 degree right of the fairway - and be able to carry you drive 240 yards over the water. See layout hole #10 diagram. The course is fun and friendly. Set in a valley, the fairways meandering through the hills and limestone cliffs. You will traverse 3 distinct environments:- six holes in undulating hills, six holes on the level and six holes through landscape forest. It is generally not humiliating or intimidating (depending on your temperament, of course!). Wayward shots are not too severely penalized; just stay away from the 'vertical-cliff' wall bunkers guarding strategic Greens.

Although high handicappers have the best round of their lives and keep coming back for more, the low handicap golfers still find the course quite a challenge.

Somewhat crowded at the start, with short delay, but nevertheless a good golfing day. Look forward to playing it again - now I know the tricks, because I have seen the course once. Recommended. Back tees for long hitters are great.

Although my individual scores are lowish, my overall score is above 4. 4th course played in tland..others being k. kreetha; m hills kburi, pattaya c. club...PHuket cc was the best...very beautiful ..had fun..although im a terrible golfer...caddie disappeared for awhile hiding in the shade while i was waiting for a different club; didn't like the mandatory tips ( i believe there was writing on the wall)...you may as well just add a service charge

I really enjoyed playing this course. It is very beautiful, and challenging. The front 9 is hilly with fairways that are narrow… often with trouble if you hit the ball too long… so my driver stayed in the bag most of the time until the course opens up a bit on the flatter back 9. My caddy spoke English well enough to help me with course management, but was not too friendly. I played on a Sunday, and the pace of play was very good. The green fee is a little high at 2,300 B, but I paid less because they gave me a 30% discount for having a Visa Credit Card.

A fantastic experience. A course that will always pose a challenge, no matter how often you play it. Caddies superb, hired clubs the only disappointment.

Overall a little dissapointing. This course will test your accuracy, the front nine is very tight so leave your driver in the bag. The greens were very dissapointing, some of the slowest I have ever played! My caddie (#35) was none too friendly and despite having caddied there for 10 years was at a loss to offer any advice. If you decide to play here don't book through your hotel - instead hit the street and you will find a better deal - best rates are around 1,800 vs the 2,350 quoted.
