Blue Canyon Country Club is one of the most prestigious courses in Asia. The golf course with 18 holes was developed in Phuket. The course layout is very exciting and creates the beautiful scenery of the placement of holes in a natural fields. The 18 holes with undulating fairways and greens are arranged with bunkers and natural water hazards. No.13 hole of par 4 and No.14 hole of par 3 are well known among the golfers.

Very good hole layout, but that was done 12yers ago.Everything since is poor.Greens put ok but the Tifdwarf is mai sabai mak,and will need changing soon.Green contours verge on the crazy making people think the greens are faster than they are.Fairways had not been cut for days maybe due to rain, same for the bunkers.Pity the poor caddies having to shoulder Asian golfers HUGE golf bags. They can't give advice as they are out of breath.Overall service level very poor, obviously no leadership.Overpriced, but worth playing once.Curry Puff was great.TAKE A SMALL GOLF BAG PLEASE.

The courses seemed to be in good shape and worth playing even for the high cost of green fees. However we found the course not to be golfer friendly - One of our woman players had golf sandals and was denied playing priveleges without golf shoes. Golf sandals are acceptable all over the world and should be acceptable here. Club officials made her play in loaned golf shoes two sizes too big. Since carts were not available because of wet conditions on The Lake course her day was a disaster. She had come a long way to play Blue Canyon so an exception should have been made at least for that day to allow her to wear her golf sandals. After the round she ran out and bought a pair of shoes so that she could at least be comfortable for the second day of play on the Canyon Course. We had three excellent caddies on day one but were not allowed to reserve them for the second day (apparently a privelege only afforded members). One of three caddies the second day was excellent but the other two were very disinterested and not really worth having. In my opinion the quality of the facilities and even the cost of play was acceptable but my hope is that the club officials become more golfer friendly

Played at Lake course on Oct 9th, even big rain occurred the night before, but the water system is quite good. Green is really bad, need full-maintenance. Food is very expensive, Gaterate = 60 baht !!!

I had played in this course twice, recently 1n 2004, but I felt it's worse than 5 or 6 years ago. No surprise as first time I came here, caddie and course conditions and so on.... The Lake course is not difficult. I would rather play at Loch Palm or Phuket Country Club, even Laem Chabang.

The Canyon course design does not meet the sales hype, nor the [retouched?] photographs. I feel tricked. The mundane design is wasted on a really beautiful location that should have made this a marvelous course. Greens and bunker designs could be on any mid-range public course, in any town, anywhere. And the course conditions are just pathetic - especially the greens and fairways. It would take a major replanting to bring this place up to even average condition. What a stunning wasted opportunity. And a waste of my money. Deeply disappointed in both the the design and the course conditions, I will not play here again. This is far less than what I expected.

Played Lakes 2 years ago and thought it was a great course in great conditions and good value as well. Played Canyon this time as Lakes is being renovated until 11/2006. Nice layout with high degree of difficulty. However, green conditions were not so good with some bumpy patches and dirt/sand areas. Caddies are knowledgeable. Food was average. Overall, Lakes course is much better value for money.

Played the lakes course midweek. Interesting layout with plenty of hazards, tough if you can not drive the ball straight! Good elevation on some holes. Speed of play was quite good. Probably not good value for money though, caddies were average.

Played on August 11th, 2005 Teeing grounds and fairways are not well taken care off. Greens ae challenging but in less than ideal conditions. grass texture on greens look rough and incensistent. Overall view is very nice. Caddy was not attentive Zmay be exhausted by carrying bags on instead of using pull cart). If conpare to 5300 Baht oublished rate. It's way overrated and a robbery.

The club had an arrogant approach to visitors. played in October when course was waterlogged and greens under maintenance. But still full green fees were charged. Will not return as poor value for money.

Played Canyon course 12th Oct 05,and wasn't impressed with the Greens.Looked like a type of water weed over most of the greens.Fairways were excellent and a challenging layout, caddie was helpful but didn't look like she was going to make the full 18 holes.Difficulty only a 3 since I played of the front markers. Value for money a 3, very expensive for what condition the course was in.Walked away from golf course feeling a little dissapointed.

Very nice course. Played Lakes course on 9 October. Had a great caddy and a very nice experience. Booked through golfasian.com and got a great deal.

Played on 1-June'07 with special rate, this is my third time here. Never disappointed because the overall condition is maintained very well. Each hole has its own style/unique. Always love to play here. It's a must for golfer, at least once in a life time...except price is too expensive.

Booked through an agent to play Canyon Course at 5800 baht, inclusive of green fee, caddy and round trip transfer. Course is nice and challenging. Hole 13 and 14 are most memorable. Very good, hardworking caddy. But still overpriced compared to places like Suwan, Alpine.

A real Championship course, pricey but worth the money. Try Red Mountain though another wonderful, different and challenging course
