Pattana Golf Resort & Sport Club is a 27 hole layout consisting if three 9 hole courses exotically named Andreae, Brookei, and Calypso. At Pattana golfers can enjoy the feeling of being close to nature in this lush and well maintained course. The golf course is built on over 1,000 acres of land. Palm trees, large water hazards, undulating fairways and lightening fast Tifdwarf greens add to make a challenging layout, particularly well suited for low handicappers and scratch golfers. Combine this to the relatively windy conditions, especially when the afternoon trade winds off the Gulf of Thailand roll in and you have what is probably the second best golf course, just behind Laem Chabang, in the Pattaya area.

Pattana also has some of the best facilities in Pattaya featuring several restaurants, excellent practice areas and a huge sports complex. The resort also has a variety of accommodations available including a 117 room hotel, a 70 room serviced apartment; and 35 private villas.

Golf carts are compulsory at Pattana, making this riding course more expensive than some of the other nearby alternatives. Also Pattana caters to large local Thai and Asian groups which makes tee times, especially on weekends at a premium and can be a concern for some golf visitors.

Eight of us played our first round in Thailand at Pattana on this vacation and everyone was impressed with the condition of the course and the facilities. An enjoyable round of gold. Good value and would play this one again.

I played here first time, a little bit disappointment. Course layout is difficult, but greens are terrible. the grass of green is like fairway,the speed of greens are half as other courses. Most of caddies are good, they can speak easy English.

Nice golf course but too expensive considering the alternatives. Unfortunatly, the management here is bad. The marketing department printed a promotion in Sport Golf Club Magazine, June 2005. When I called them to book the promotion they refused to honor it. Not a good way to run a golf course, false advertising.

Very challanging course, and i think this will be one of the best courses in Thailand when the greens and fairways will grow some more,but the caddies have to be better.

Played A and C course day after big tournment 27.02.06.Thought the course would be in exelent condition,but we were wrong.Greens were slow,long grass on fairways,bad maintained this day.Caddies were even worse than were one year ago.I`m not going to play this course next year.

Not as good as I expected (or they try to convince us for their good). My group played 3 courses this trip (St.Andrew 2000, Patana, and Noble). This course is the most disappointed for this tirp (not sure that we expect them too much). Green is the worst, too hard, and too rough). Layout is fair (not impressive like other, no signature hole to remember). However, for new golfers, travellers, or group seminar, I recommend this course. Facilities are so good. But, not for serious golfers

An excellent coures , rich with promise and the hugely good speed of play is a jopy compared to the disatrous situation in most Bangkok Courses on the weekend.Caddies need training but they are very polite.

We played on Sunday,12 Feb, 2006. We found there were not enough caddies to supply for us when we arrived at the reception. The reception should have known such an situation in advance. But just say, "Please wait." Terrible management! Additionally after we waited for 1 hour, inexperienced caddies took care of us! Also waitresses and waiters at the restaurant loitered over their job. No more Pattana Sport Club!

It's a very beautiful golf course right now, not like before. It have been improved a lot. I rate this is a must play course with the fee is still cheap. I think the green fee will be higher for sure so act now before the price is higher.

This is a course that evryone should play at least once in Thailand. A test with many holes playing into or across the wind. The Caddies are excellent, and the club house and facilities are first rate. They had just cored the greens so that affected the rating, also the fairways were either overwatered, or had some dead patches.

Played on weekday 2 weeks ago at 1450 Baht for walking. Course is good desinged for walk. The wind makes it not too hot an fun for play. Thefeeling was good as no housings estates will be within the sceen, a very relax round of golf. Green was too slow and bumby. Highly recommend to spend a full day here to be able to experience the facilities. Seems they have a good massage service but no time to yr this time.
