The Royal Gems & Sports Club is one of the famous membership golf courses in Thailand and located in Putthamonthon along the route 338. It takes about 45 minutes by car to reach the course from the city center of Bangkok. The exciting 18 holes are well laid out on the fields and the players can enjoy their golf in the good maintenance of the fairways and greens.

I dont know what happened, but my most recent game at Royal Gems has provided to be a worth while trip, the greens are putting awesome, and the fairways are just looking like carpet. All thumbs up for the recent Improvements.

I had an overall good experience Jan/06. The course is in excellent condition, and the surroudings lush. No change in elevation at all though, making it not as interesting as some.

I was there, just 2 days ago. Good course, typical Thailand course layout, very flat. Challenging with, well placed bunkers and doglegs. Caddies were helpful but unfortunately does not speak english... luckily we were able to communicate via signs... enough to know where the breaks are etc. Certainly worth a repeat visit

Regulary play as a member. Its fairway and green condition are excellent. So much improvement from a few years ago. The course layout is not difficult; however, you better not stay in rough where you will learn something. Speed of play is alright but still have room for improvement. Clubhouse facilities are a bit old (note that the refurbishment cost shall not be pushed to member any more!) Food is excellent, both Thai and Japanese. I admit that the course is pricey to non-member but I think it is the right concept.
