The Chiangmai-Lamphun Golf Club, 7022 yards, 18-hole championship course par 72, was designed by Dr.Sukhum Sukapanpotharam in its entirety. The inspiration and realization of a group of Thais who are committed to the preservation of Northern Thailand's unique heritage, it was officially opened in December 1990 by General Prem Tinsulanonda, Privy Councellor and Statesman Man.
A golf round in a "Big Garden". Thousand of mature antive trees and the scenic views of rolling hills, along with attractive, traditional-style buildings, gives the course a distinctively northern feel. With contoured terrain, creeks imaginative water hazards and creative bunkering designs, thes course requires precise play. Only 20 minutes from central Chiangmai, the course boasts an extremely difficuly hole nene, where the tee shot must be placed between water hazards hemming the fairway and then carried over a big pond to a sloping green
