Summit Green Valley Chiangmai Golf Club is an excellent, championship caliber 18-hole golf course that is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. It features an abundance of well placed sand bunkers and lots of water that can come into play on nearly every hole on the course. The fairways are ample and mostly level. The greens are large, receptive to approach shots, and putting speed is moderate to slightly fast. However, course length, numerous elevation changes, and prevailing wind makes Green Valley a tough but fair challenge to golfers of all skill levels. The course drains exceptionally well during the wet season and benefits from the nearly constant "good air" breeze of the Mai Rim area. The beautiful clubhouse provides full features and service: a polite & professional staff, well-stocked Pro Shop, dining & refreshment areas, locker room facilities, and luxurious health spa services. |

Situated on the magnificent Dok Krai reservoir's banks, the five-year-old Nick Flado designed Great Lake Golf & Country Club is truly magnificent. However, although the club could have easily relied on Dok Krai's water for its natural hazards, Faldo has also incorporated an astonishing 120 bunkers into its design - - eleven of which can be found along the par-four 18th, the course's most famous hole. Clubhouse and local hotel facilities are of the usual very high standard. |

It takes about 40 minutes to reach the course from the city center of Chiang Mai by car. The 18 holes are laid out on a hilly country surrounded with natural forest. Players can enjoy exciting holes with undulating fairways and greens and in a good arrangement of water hazards and bunkers. They have a good reputation of the maintenance and operation of the course. It is very convenient for players to stay at the hotel in the course to enjoy golf to their hearts' content in a good atmosphere of Chiang Mai. |

The Gassan Marina Golf Club, the third course for Khun Pravit Reang-Po, is out to set the new modern standard of golf in the Kingdom as he challenges the modern day tour pros with a 7600 yard modern design. The course is situated around the largest lake in the Chiang Mai area. Time will tell if the pros will be able to stand up to the challenge as only time will tell if this brand new venue will be able to tame the new breed of golfer with the new technological advances that he has in his golf bag. |
