Good pool and sauna
from Singapore (July 21, 2005)
We arrived at the hotel at 11pm. My family had booked a Delux suit and was given the superior room upon check-in instead. I complained to the front desk and they assigned the Delux room. It was after I pointed to them that my reservation is a delux suit had they finally changed the room for us. It took a little more than 1/2 hour in the process moving the luggage up and down ourselves. Room was clean and layout was neat. The nice thing is that we were given an extra bed. Other than the check-in hassle, there isn't much to complain. Breakfast was good and food was sufficient even when we went in after 9am. For the price we paid for the room, it is pretty decent. Cab is plentiful and going around Thailand is convenient. 7-eleven store is opposite the hotel. I would not mind to go back and stay in this hotel again if they give loyalty rewards to repeat customer.

Good tall building with far view
from Hong Kong (July 5, 2005)
Good tall building with far view; I was upgraded to "Corporate" when I asked for a "smoking" room, I was arranged to a room on the top floor. Chauffeurs were friendly and nice to chat with tho I didn't take any of their limousines except when going to the airport on my return trip. Good neighborhood with a convenient 7-11 near by. Breakfasts were good and has good variety. Five, ten minutes walk away from Pratunam, the shopping district, and lots of internet shops around, 20Bahts per hr.. Good access to Taxi-meters and "tuk-tuk"(the 3-wheeled) taxis. Fried grasshoppers available for trial (outside the 7-11 store) but I was chicken to try them. Foot massage shops; restaurants; street side stalls selling ornaments, T-shirts, lottery tickets; handcrafts and this Indra mall at the near-by Pratunam shopping area. Maybe 30-45 minutes walk away from the nearests sky-train station Chid-lom or the Plernchit location. Good hotel for the economical price.

Above Average for the price
from Chicago, IL (August 3, 2005)
This hotel was more than average for the price. The rooms were clean. Granted, this is not a 5 star hotel. But, for only $40 a night it's well worth. The location of the hotel is in walking distance to some really good shopping centers. Also, there are plenty of taxi and tuk-tuks. However, make sure you get taxi cards from the hotel. Alot of the taxi drivers haven't heard of D'MA. The buffet breakfast is really good. Nice selection to choose from. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable. Everyone in the hotel spoke really good English. Overall, the hotel was really nice. I would definately stay there again.

Surely going back to D'MA Pavillion
from Singapore (June 28, 2005)
I must say tat my fren and myself had enjoyed our stay at D'MA Pavillion Hotel when we were in Bangkok on 23 May to 27 May 2005. The hotel room was clean and the breakfast spread was fantastic! The service is good but now I jus recalled tat there is no boiler jug in the room for us to boil water so tat we can make our own coffee in the room as and when we wanted. So, other than tis setback overall is pretty good. Anyway, drinks and food are so easily available as there is a 7-eleven store jus across the street and there are road stalls hawker food jus outside the hotel. So, supper is always available as the stalls opened pretty late. The next round if I were to go to Bangkok, I don't mind staying with D'MA again and hopefully I will get a good rate as the last round with 1 nite free for 3 nites stay which I booked through the internet. D'MA Pavillion see you soon! Happy user :) Amy Sng

Good Price
from Japan (July 24, 2005)
The TV signal was unpredictable and many programs were scrambled due to technical problems. It was impossible to watch any programs without interuption. The pay-per-view movie's never worked, even after calling. The staff seemed to have trouble understanding some of my requests, and my room service orders were not confirmed, and therefor inaccurate. On the first night of my second stay at this hotel, the adjoining room's phone kept ringing. I had to make several requests to correct the situation or to arrange to move my room. They temporarily fixed it and then I had to call again later several times after it had woken me up. They did NOT overcharge for phone usage all the rates, local and international seemed reasonable. The Laundry service was accurate and reasonable, although they did not replenish the order forms when returning laundered clothes. I had to hand write instructions on not paper for future requests. The rooms were clean and everything was operational except for the problems with the TV reception as noted above. The staff did not go too far out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay, although they were always very curtious.

Value for money
by Terry Wong from HK, SAR (September 20, 2005)
Wow! As what we paid, we got more than expected. Location is not that good, but not bad. Very easy access in and out, especially when I found how to travel by train to connect to the Skytrain and MRT in just a few minutes. It was very convineince for me. Free WI-FI internet access on the 8th floor was great. The room is spacious, clean and bright. Separated shower room from the bathtub is really great. Many shopping centres are near by and within walking distance such as the Central World Plaza, Pratunam and Pantip IT Mall. Suanlum Night Bazar and Patpong are not farway from the hotel.

The location was good
from Singapore (June 17, 2005)
The location was good as there are lots of laundry shop below our hotel and send to them cost 10THB instead of hotel at 70THB per piece. Room very dull, not suitable for couple, breakfast very limited and gave up breakfast during my third breakfast.

Good value for money
by Brandon from Malaysia (February 24, 2006)
Pros: Nice & clean rooms, spacious washroom with separate shower, breakfast is above average. Cons: Front desk reception staff are not-so-friendly but others are quite helpful, lobby a bit small, location is quite far from BTS but near to Pratunam Market. Have to walk a bit far to catch an 'honest' taxi. A few hawkers stalls nearby but nothing fancy.

Good value for the money
by Marius Gillesen from Norway (April 18, 2006)
Got 2 separate beds at initial check-in, when I asked for a double bed I was relocated to a new room immediately. No view for the room what so ever. Not the place to stay if you want to drink and eat in the hotel, but almost ideal for shopping and going out. It’s close to the Pratunam market and Sukumvit area without having to live on top of either.

"Undiscovered YET"
by Elvynn Chan from Singapore (December 4, 2006)
Being a frequent traveller to Thailand, I tried this hotel because all the others were full due to high season. In a nutshell, customer service is good, room is neat and clean. Close proximity to Pratunam. You will never go hungry with food vendors which opens till late at night. With 7-11 directly opposite the hotel, getting your toiletries is a breeze. All in all, value for money, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Wil definitely be back. Thanks hotels2thailand!

This hotel has the best buffet breakfast with made to order omelette and a large variety of choices. The pool is lovely. The location is a ways off a main street not perfect. It's a long walk to a more central location.
