Floraville Chuan Chuen Golf Club is one of the newer golf courses in the Bangkok area. Opened in 1998, the course is located to the North of Bangkok - it takes about an hour to reach the course by car from the city centre. This Nick Faldo designed course features a great deal of water and if played from the blue tees, is very long - being able to hit accurately and for distance will serve you well. The club house, having just been renovated is excellent. This is one of the best value courses in the Bangkok area.

I play there regularly because it is a very nice course with very knowledgable caddies. But one thing is always reducing the good impression a lot. Nobody takes care if you have groups in front of you slowing down the whole game. The worst happened this Sunday when I played with 2 friends. The first 9 holes were more or less okay, even though we were slowed down heavily by 2 groups in front of us and nobody takes care about it. But when we came to hole 10 we have to wait even longer as they squeezed in more groups starting there game at hole 10. Complaints from our side were answered by a smile and sorry.
My friends will not book Chuan Chuen again.

not a bad course at all, visually! Trust the yardages...many looked longer than it is! Greens can be better though...speed not constant. Played on Sunday afternoon, green too high for Sunday afternoon.... Will play here on weekday next time!

Improved a lot in maintainence lately. THe greens are much smoother (yet still quite hard). Nice natural surrounding (as usual). Fantastic value for the money.

Played on a Wednesday. Took only 30 minutes from Ploenchit area to get to the course. Twosome, 18 holes in 4h.15. Greatly designed challenging course, especially back nine. Greens not too reliable. Pretty hard. facilities so so... but definitely good value for money! I recommend it, at least on weekdays.

Attractive course and well maintained. Pretty tough course with tight fairways and lots of water. Not too far from the centre of Bangkok and cheap too. Recommended.

Visited around Songkran holiday. Tremendous improvement in overall conditions. Muck smoother greens. Rough is shorter now than before. I think this is a challenging yet fair golf course to play. Green fee are reasonable. Best value overall. Strongly recommended.

Very nice course. Well maintained. Caddy didn't know a word of English... Ladies' locker very louzy. No air con. Run down shower... A pity that the clubhouse lacks ambiance. Played weekday. Speed of play OK (4h1/2).

played on 12 Nov, fairways and greens in good condition, a litte soggy on the edges from night before t-storm. Caddies were very knowledgable and not very many people for a saturday morning in Bangkok. Will be back

Very good and challenging course. Layout and atmostphere is very nice. Weekday promotional green fee + caddy (850 Baht) is worth to pay. Clubhouse is new and clean. I will definitely come back.

Played today. Last played before the summer there are some changes which the admin here should ring them about: price hikes, concessions for Thai golfer card etc. It is very easy to get to the course from downtown Bangkok being only 6Km from leaving the expressway at Sri Samaan, 15 minutes with a wait at lights to at Tiwanon Road before crossing the river. A good run now that the Airport is closed the Northern area is much improved making the Meuang Ake courses viable from downtown also but Chuan Cheun is easier to get to. the greens on the front nine were a bit rough; hollow tineing not very well done, just a few holes per square metre and sanded. How long the sand will take to get below I don't know. 960Bt before 1000 and you are made to feel very welcome. few players so try to find a partner I am available for a round of bogey golf anytime.
