Bangkok Golf club is a short, but attractive course with lots of water, well maintained fairways and excellent greens.

The minimum commute time from the Bangkok city center and it’s being located within Bangkok’s suburbs make Bangkok Golf Club a good choice for those travelers interested in playing an excellent course with short required travel time.

Despite its central location, Bangkok Golf Club has a country side feel to it. A few years ago, the course was entirely flooded and thus completely renovated all the holes. At present the course is surrounded with a concrete wall in order to prevent similar flooding and Bangkok Golf Clubs is now one of the only Bangkok courses to remain relatively dry, even in the rainy season Bangkok Golf Club’s 18 hole championship course is always well maintained to international tournament standards. The main features of course layout are the strategic arrangement of water hazards and bunkers. The Par 5 9th has been rated as one of the best 500 holes in the world by Golf Magazine in America and hosting the 2003 Volvo Masters of Asia further added to the course designs’ credibility. Another course highlight is the 11th hole, where the island green requires good confidence to hit a strong tee shot over the water and carry the bunker blocking the front of the green.

The second course is the nine hole par 27, Mah Boonkroong International Par 3 Course, in which each hole was modeled after a famous par 3 hole from around the world. Both courses are floodlit for night golf.

The club house at Bangkok Golf Club offers traditional Thai massage, a well stocked golf pro shop, good and clean locker rooms, and a choice of international, Thai, Italian and Japanese restaurants. The practice facilities include a driving range, putting green, and dedicated chipping areas. Accommodations, including an on site spa are also available for those who prefer an all inclusive golf resort holiday package.

We (3 or 4 flights) play this course every Thursday night and it is always good value for money. If you're expecting to get something like Alpine or Blue Canyon you're at the wrong place. What you will find is a good course, with friendly staff and caddies, that is fun to play and enough of a challenge to keep your handicap honest. We really enjoy playing here and will continue to do so.

Play night golf, a new experience. Do'nt worry if you hit the balls into the woods, somebody ride motorcycle and show you where the balls are with light of motorcycle. If you drive in the rouhg, you still can on green 2nd shot, because it is not a "long" course.

Too many slow players. With new rule forbidding 2-people group is unreasonable. However, Starter, himself, plays with friends in 5-some group which is totally against the new rule too. Marshall should do a better job managing the pace. Course condition needs more attention urgently.

I have played BKK Golf Club for many times and it used to be one of my favourite courses in BKK. Recently the course conditions have degraded to an absolute unacceptable level, greens are terrible, fairways not in shape and dead slow play. Clearly the course is over-used and not taken care off properly. I would suggest to the management to give the course at least one day rest per week and avoid accepting too many golfers as your reputation amongst many golfers (and I know many)is really going down to a level that people start to avoid playing here which is a shame, because the course lay-out is still very nice. Do with this comment what you want, but please improve else I (and with me many regulars) will not play here anymore....

We played two rounds - one on Friday night, and then again on Saturday. Fairway conditions were quite good. Greens are challenging, with interesting contours, and good speed. Our caddies regularly fixed ball marks, but I could see that others were not as diligent - a few too many "scars" on the greens. Pace of play Friday night was painfully slow - I never saw a marshall. Definitely needed one to tell some slow groups ahead to move it. Also, lighting is only "okay". Saturday pace of play was much better. All in all, a fun course, that's laid out well. Definitely worth playing, and we received a nice, welcoming feeling from club staff.

The perfect course to end a golf holiday in Thailand. As most flights for Europe leave after midnight, an evening round elegantly rounds off the last long day in Thailand. A nice meal in the restaurant after the shower, and then off to the airport. I am normally asleep before pushback after a long and exhausting day. Try it!

This used to be a really good course that did a decent job of scheduling tee times and not overbooking. No longer the case. Tours seem to now have preference and nobody blinks an eye when the regulars are forced to tee off 30 minutes late because a TOUR was more important. Seems yet another good course has fallen to greed and has forgotten about those that come regularly not to mention common courtesy and golf etiqutte... Not enough marshalls and those that are there do a poor job. You never see them at the food stands where people stop and backup play for 5 or 6 groups. Slow, slow, slow...

Tight golf course with very interesting layout. I like golf courses like this and K Kreetha where the design is a little different from the typical flat par 72 Bangkok golf course which seem to all look the same.
